Age Spots and Skin Tags
Age spots and skin tags can be removed at Daydreams after a doctor, nurse, or pharmacist has confirmed they are benign.
Seborrhoeic keratoses, whilst harmless, are unsightly and are not routinely removed under the NHS. They tend to appear on older skin and are usually brown, sometimes almost black. Most frequently, I am asked to remove them from the décolleté or back. Benign and non-cancerous, they can be removed as a cosmetic procedure.
I use the Accor plasma pen and it is highly effective. I do require clients to have confirmation from their GP that I can proceed. The same applies to skin tags. The treatment is permanent and safe, and clients are genuinely delighted with the results.
Post-treatment, there is a short recovery time of less than a week, so this is an ideal time of year to consider removal when it is easy to dress over the treated area. Whilst the removal is uncomfortable, there is no discomfort following treatment.
Cost may vary, but there is no charge for consultation, and £50 to £90 is a general guide.
